Why use Shipping Containers for your project?  

Not only will the use of Shipping Containers make your build architecturally unique, there are several advantages for the reuse of Shipping Containers.  The most important advantage being that this is a sustainable and environmentally friendly practice.  Shipping Container Design not only utilizes something that would potentially end up as waste but by using Shipping Containers you greatly reduce the use of other traditional building materials such as wood and masonry.   

We use steel framing for our builds because steel is stronger, water resistant, non-combustible and pest proof.  Spray foam is the preferred method of insulation and all R-Values, for each build, are met to satisfy Building Code. 

Building with Shipping Containers is more cost effective than a traditional build and this type of structure is constructed more rapidly.  Shipping Containers are structurally sound, extremely durable and resistant to extreme weather conditions.  They are movable, easily expanded upon and create a very secure environment with impenetrable walls.

During the Shipping Container Design process we ensure that all Building Codes and Bylaws are met within your municipality.  In some cases, the drawings may require a stamp from a structural engineer, which is a process we will guide you through, using our own recommended engineer or one of your choosing.  

Depending on what is required to complete the project, we will provide you with floor plans, interior and exterior elevations, millwork and design details, spatial layouts, suggestions for finishes, fixtures, lighting, finishes schedule, etc.   

Please note that until the design stage is complete, we cannot provide you with an estimate of the cost. There are multiple variables that impact and influence the cost of a custom project. Our estimation services provide an accurate assessment of the cost of materials and labor involved in the shipping container project and to provide an estimate without a complete design is not feasible.
